Experience Wildwood Boardwalk for Non-stop Entertainment. Brimming with neon lights, delicious food, carnival games, arcades and amusement rides, Wildwood Boardwalk is top on the to-do list of families visiting the Jersey Shore. Located just north of Cape May’s beautiful beaches, Wildwood Boardwalk is a nearly 3-mile stretch of non-stop entertainment adults and kids of all ages will enjoy.

Wildwood isn’t the only town that boasts a fabulous Boardwalk, but there’s is arguably the best. All along the 38-block Wildwood Boardwalk, you’re dazzled with an incredible assortment of sights and sounds. Whether you like amusement park rides, water park rides, souvenir shopping, carnival-style treats or fun houses, you’ll find plenty to love about Wildwood Boardwalk.

Although Wildwood Boardwalk was once a mere 150 feet long, today it begins at 16th Avenue in North Wildwood and runs all the way to Cresse Avenue, nearly 3 miles away. Strolling the length of the Boardwalk is an incredible experience, but if you’re not up for a full walk, you can take a bicycle tour at scheduled times or ride the famous battery-operated Tram.  

Amusement and Water Park Rides

There are three amusement piers and two beachfront waterparks featuring a huge diversity of rides for families to enjoy at Wildwood Boardwalk. Surfside contains kiddie rides, thrilling adult and big-kid rides, great concessions, plus a terrific Water park. The famous Great Nor’Easter looping roller coaster is located at Surfside Pier.

Mariner’s Landing at Schellenger Avenue features dozens of amusement park rides, including the Sea Serpent coaster. Seaport Mini-Golf and terrific food and amusement games are available at Mariner’s Landing, as well.

Adventure Pier on Spencer Avenue is the place for more thrilling amusement park rides for kids of all ages and adults. If you want to ride the famous Great White coaster, this is the Pier where it’s located.

Souvenirs, Snacks and Games

Amusement rides are a big part of the fun at Wildwood Boardwalk, but there are plenty of milder forms of entertainment to enjoy, as well. Shop for t-shirts and other fun souvenirs in dozens of shops, or win a stuffed animal or other prize at your favorite carnival-style game. Virtual reality games are also on site at Wildwood Boardwalk.

There’s a variety of sit-down restaurants where you can relax and have a full meal at Wildwood Boardwalk, but the assortment of carnival fare and treats is hard to resist. Taffy, fudge, cotton candy, funnel cakes, pretzels and pizza are just some of the delicious treats you can enjoy on your visit to Wildwood Boardwalk.
