A two-mile avenue of blossoming cherry trees, adorned with American flags and yellow ribbons can be seen toward the last two weeks of April in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

This patriotic avenue reflects the remembrance of the 2996 innocent victims that perished on September 11, 2001. We must "never forget" what happened on that dreadful day. This avenue also reflects Cherry Hill's pride and support for our brave men and women in the military.

The blossoming cherry trees are located on Chapel Avenue between Haddonfield Road and Kings Highway in Cherry Hill.

We encourage families to being their children to see this cherry blossom avenue in order to teach them a lesson of compassion for the 9-11 victims and their families, pride and support of our country's military, and for a lesson of how great our country is. Explain tgo them why the cherry trees are adorned with American Flags and yellow ribbons.
Cherry Blossoms in Cherry Hill, NJ is a post from: New Jersey Tourism
