New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark Offers Spectacular Entertainment. The New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark is an outstanding venue that hosts an incredible assortment of performances each year. Prudential Hall at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center is considered to be one of the best concert halls in the world. This 2,750 seat hall features an auditorium with four tiers of seating in a horseshoe arrangement. Glamorous red and golden wood color schemes throughout the hall create a warm, classical setting. Some of the upcoming events being held at Prudential Hall include performances by Savion Glover, Chris Botti, Cats, Fiddler on the Roof and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Victoria Theater at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center seats 514 in a beautiful setting featuring a smoky gray and rose brick color scheme and iridescent fabrics. Upcoming events at the Victoria Theater include Beyond the Mirror and Kittonkhola, Ballet Hispanico, and performances by the Newark Boys Chorus

Paula West, Fresh Status and K T Sullivan are just three of the acts scheduled for the elegant Chase Room at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in the coming months. In addition to great entertainment, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the City’s skyline in the intimate Chase Room.

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center features two restaurants, and a third option for outdoor dining is available seasonally. The Theater Square Grill featuring gourmet appetizers, entrees and desserts opens three hours in advance of performances. The Theater Square Bistro offers French-inspired a la carte dining Tuesdays thru Saturdays. Calcada is perfect for casual dining outdoors from May thru September. Enjoy lunch under a tent and see Calcada’s chefs prepare meals in an open exhibition kitchen.
